Creating an article

Here's a very quick guide to creating a page in this wiki.

• Firstly, open the wiki playground in another tab or window.

• Make sure you are logged in (your user ID and password are the same as those you use for the main forum).

• Click on the 'edit' tab at the top of the Playground page.

• Under the 'Playground Links' title, enter a link in the following format (change the name to suit you):

[[Test:Fluffy's Test Page]]

• It's very important to include "Test:" before your page name for any pages you create whilst playing.

• Hit preview and make sure your link appears on its own line and is underlined like so:

• You will find that line breaks are dealt with differently to the main forum; to start a new line you must leave one completely blank line in your text.

• Make any further edits required, and once you are happy click "save page". If you want to make further changes, simply hit "edit" again.

• Click on the link you created, and you'll now be at the "Edit page" screen for your new article.

• When creating 'proper' pages, do not include the "Test:" prefix in your page name.

• If you want to find out how an existing page has been laid out, hit Edit and take a look at the source text -- you can simply cancel without saving if you're not planning on making changes.
