Why, How, and Who
October 2001
A group of lads meet at Clacket Lane services on the M25. Most of them riding Kawasaki ZX6R's.
The reason for the meet was to finally put faces to web names and also to enjoy a bloody good rideout. The idea was hatched on the MotorCycleNews message board forums (http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=motorcyclenews.messageboard.forum) after a lot of discussions and banter between them all.
They had a great rideout down to Eastbourne, stopped for lunch at a pub and then onto Brighton where they relaxed, took photos and talked about themselves and their bikes. Monday Coxy went back to work and thought wouldn't it be great if we had a site of our own to host the pictures to arrange further rideouts.
That was when MCNNinjas (http://groups.msn.com/MCNNinjas/general.msnw) was born.
Coxy emailed the others and they all started using it; adding various pages, pictures, message boards, tips, weblinks etc. and it has evolved into what you see today.
People have come and gone and a lot of people have worked really really hard to make it what it is, and it is much appreciated. Make sure above all you enjoy the site and try to put in what you take out.
