Not been on here for ages, but have donated anyway. As others, met a lot of people on this site so would be a shame to see it die.

Z H2 is on my radar...but one day I like...others I don't...but sitting on it and seeing it in the flesh will help the decision making

Been reading about the 1160 will certainly be worth waiting for to see what it's like.

Yep. keep having changes of opinion on the Z H2, but hopefully seeing it will make my mind up one way or the other.

Knowing your Dad I know what a hard decision that must have been for him.

At least he had a decent time on his bikes and enjoyed them for as long as he could.

Hopefully we will still be able to ride till we get to that age, although you've got ten years head start on me !! :)

No ninja anymore.  :(

After 5 zx6r's and 1 zx10 I decided I had itched the sports bike itch and wanted a naked. Kawasaki are way behind in the sports naked department and so I had to take my money elsewhere (bmw). I would get another kawasaki if they brought out a naked as good as the s1000r though.

I do love a sports bike , I am torn between something like the BMW S1000R or the full fat RR.

S1000R is a great bike. I'm on my second one now

Can't say I miss sports bikes. The S1000R gives me sports bike performance, sporty look, handling, but much more comfortable riding position.

Still have one for track use but could not go back to one for the road.

Thats a mighty large exhaust!

It's not a big as some of the oem exhausts on bikes nowadays, had the original can on my last one so I'm sure I can live with the Akky on this one. :)

Well today I braved the snow and returned my S1000r to the BMW dealers and came home with a new S1000r :)

Just need the weather to clear up so I can ride it.
