I was working that day otherwise would have been on the fallen friends ride out. 

Yep there are a lot of bikers here, although I tend to rarely ride at home for fun anymore as the roads are bad and traffic in the summer not much fun.

Living here is lovely though 

We sometimes go to the local meet on a Weds evening during summer and James, more than me goes to breakfast on a Sunday.

Well, we only have one out of three bikes road worthy 

I'm taking the pot pot ( NC30 ) to Dorset for the weekend to visit friends and escape the 6000 odd scooters invading the Isle of Wight this weekend 

Well, we went, we saw, deposit paid 

Very fairly priced bike IMO. Going to be MOT'd and serviced before the balance is paid.

Few scuffs, lady did exactly what I did as a newbie, turned too tight at walking speed and dropped it 

going to see it this afternoon. Thanks for that. Looks promising
