Insurance on a lease car

that makes sense however as I asked who actually paid for the insurance because if it was Dan (or his Co) the insurer should have dealt with them not the lease co because the contract will be with the person/co paying for the insurance surely?

Yes and no,  contract. To supply the. Insurance. Service is with the payer but contract to pay restitution. Is with the owner (flipping. Touch screen).
