Well after a good test day on Friday we went ahead in the forecast thunderstorms for race day on Saturday.  Mostly fab weather with one massive storm shower around 2pm which lasted 15 minutes (I was the lucky git that got to do the wet stint) ...

Qualified 6th (WTF) ... Got away well (2nd - end lap one), swapped places with the eventual winners and finished in 2nd after 8 brutal hours.

360 litres of unleaded, £3,000 of rear and front tyres and six sets of knee sliders, six sets of brake pads, 3 sprocket and chain sets ...

Sunday was spent mowing the lawn ...

You looked good out there.  You went past me on the start finish straight and I followed you round the infield section before you cleared off again down the back straight.  Laying a few cheeky black lines down too!

Was a good race and went off relatively smoothly, all things considered.

Both myself and another one of our riders, we ended up 6th in the Club600.  I also had a puncture, was't the best race for us!

Did better at Silverstone though, were second 600 overall and we won the Club600 class.

How did you get on there?

Didn't do Silverstone this year (nearly retired now lol).  Won the National 1000 class and the overall win in 2015 :-)
