I've appealed the loan decision. I'd buy the new one with the loan rather than PCP if I could. Saves nearly £1700 in interest and means no balloon payment.

Never had a PCP but does not seem to be wise if you keep vehicles for more than the agreement period to me or if you have good equity in the first place. Not really looked into it seriously ever though.

Ridden multiple XR's as I guess I wanted to love it as it ticked all the boxes but I suffered the vibe thing on every one I rode, outside of that it is a fast, comfy well handling bike. R1250RS mentioned earlier is what I have now and it has cruise, has QS and dependent on screen you fit decent weather protection. Worth a look as for me it certainly suits better than the GS, feels more urgent when you want to have some fun
