I've been through 3 sets with various bikes from auctmart direct. The fairings have been direct fit . I'm not gonna lie the green is a little snot tier and darker than my tank but for the money I'll live with it. Import tax wise I usually get stung for about £25. Their English is good to deal direct and they are cheaper than using that guy that imports them down in Southampton??
It's a cool weekend. It's a park the rest of the year. It's scary to watch them with only a bale of hay between them and the many many trees. If the suns shining its a nice day of racing, dirty burger and cheeky pint.
Cheers for the replies guy....I guess it could be the immobiliser. It's def not petrol... There's half a tank, battery is coping with trying to start. If side stand was issue surely the starter wouldn't even kick in.... Same for kill switch.... The starter motor is firing with a rude health but is not engaging the engine. Might try a bump start later but failing that its off to see a wizard with a kaka ecu reader....
Stop worrying about knee down. That's not an indicator of speed just body position. One of the regular guys at the trackdays I do is always commenting that I can do it..... However he regularly flys past me on the track.... As for moving up a group. If you're at the front of your group and feel confident go for it. You can always move back if you feel swamped. Chances are you won't. Take it easy to start and enjoy.
Having just got back from the Brno gp on the bike. she was faultless. I washed her and popped her in the garage. Running te engine whilst drying her. Today I tried to start her and the starter motor was going 19 to the dozen but nothing is picking up..... Ideas people??
