Hi guys, I'm in my 1st year of being a rider and loving it, wish I'd done it years ago (42 now). Will be looking for advice as have recently had a small accident and damaged my ninja (a1p).

Send it to Dennis's Motorcycle Resprays in Cirencester. I've used him for over 20 years.

I've not seen a problem with them. If you are on FB, there is a B1H owners group which has a reasonable following

Better off buying an older less technical model IMO.

I will buy a model I love the looks of next  be it a 10 yr old etc and find the best example I can of it. To this day i regret getting rid of my C1H and if i found a gleaming example with tasteful additions id snap one up, and not regret the purchase every time I rode it.
I still love my B1  the mods I've made with the suspension and brakes don't take away from it. No plans to sell it

It's a small hole , where the break is I can't grind it and I wouldn't feel comfortable welding on something that small , pilot hole and reverse extractors is the only option , only problem is it's not flat so I'm hoping I can hold it steady enough with my Dremel

I have drilled exhaust studs out before, but you need a steady hand and nice sharp drills to core the stud without damaging the thread in the hole

I think it is an age thing to be fair. What is the average age of folk on here and how long have they had a licence ?

Back in the day. Ok , my day 1993. Pass your test and a few grand put you on a race machine. Everyone had leathers on and the roads were nice , quiet and smooth and i had no fear.

Now... would either be a statistic or have no licence in under a week.

I really want an older Blade. Tho would i be comfy on it as i once was , probably not. Age related ailments .

I'm 52 now and been riding on the road since 81. Never been without a bike since,  but sorned one for about 3 years when the kids were little.
