where abouts? not really an mx . but would do me for green laneing?

It's in my mate garage near Haslemere, Surrey.  and your right, not really an MX'er, I bought it for green laneing couple of years ago but the whole keeping in my mates garage thing isn't really working so time to sell it on.

I'm going down there next week to clean it / tart it up / charge battery etc....

Non-Bike help questions / Re: Car audio guru's

Iv'e got a XCarLink, it's a great little box and is accessible as a CD changer.  Work's very well, plays from iPhone charging socket (and charges phone), but you can also put an SD card into the device so you can play music without your phone.

Obviously Lotus isn't listed, but if you know who makes your OEM head unit, they might do a addon.

Oh and also gives you handfree with a mic....  Also the phone audio (inc satnav) comes through the car speakers.

wouldn't mind pushing a button and my car can drive me home from the pub.... but that's only real appeal to me

Exactly, wouldn't be great to send your car a text with your current location, then bish bosh it pulls up outside and takes you home! Plus you can enjoy another beer straight out the fridge in the back of your car!

I'd go for the Ducati DESMOSEDICI RR.....  But I am a tart.

I've shared track cars with a mate before and it's worked well in terms of we never fell out!

However I was keen to do a few more days than he was, so it all got tad complicated over paying for maintenance vs time we'd each spent driving.

My mate has one of these for his 5 year old, awesome! You can control the power with a screwdriver at the back, older they get the more power they get!

Hasn't really been driven yet...  It's currently having new turbo fitted and a remap, so should be good to go in a couple of weeks - I'll report back!

The grey one is awesome too, it has a 306 GTi-6 engine with matching brakes! I borrowed it for a month whilst between cars and it was epic, proper fast go-kart for the road

I rememeber reading about the track day accident at various places...

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/manchester-motorcyclist-bobby-khan-speaks-6713362

Whilst I hate the idea of people suing after they've signed all the forms at the start of the day....  40 seconds does seem a long time for the red flags not to be waved?  It doesn't mention if yellow's were out or not tho.....
