No pics of the Versys ?

Not as yet. Its buried in the garage. Went for the Green one even tho it's mostly black.

I did by a 2023 Suzuki Katana. Bought on a whim as I always loved the 80's versions but hated it so traded traded it in for the versys before it even went in for its first service.

Love the Kwak and did a long weekend around Wales to run it in. The only disappointment so far is the heated grips arn't that great. I might fit aftermarket ones. Otherwise very happy with it.

Bikes For Sale / 2019 S1000rr M Sport
November 26, 2023, 07:48:56 PM
Open to offers (sensible) but asking £18,500 in track form with spare set of magnesium wheels with discs. And all original body parts in mint condition.Spent in region of £10,000 on top of bike. Mapped showing 214 atw. Too many parts to list unless anyone interested.

Had one low speed low side At Snet and a topple of in the gravel at Brno so no major damage.

Or £15,500 in road trim with full system left on only. Other parts left on negotiable.

I know. But euros have gone up as well. Out in portimao with FE atm. Flights nearly doubled, fuel is well over €2 ltr. Fuel can hire from fe has doybled to 10€ now  the only saving to be had is what track you choose to ride.

I've had 4 of them including the Ltd edition. As mentioned 09, 10 R is the one to have. I still look for one now but not many original R's about. The latter ones were twin spark and dummed down in my opinion.
Apart from the very first one which broke down on the way home (electrical fault)
I never had any reliabillty issues with them. On the dealer front I did have to ask for warranty work, KTM weren't very forth coming letting you know something needed doing.
Personally I didn't get on with it on track but one of the best sports bikes you can have on the road.
Did Assen and Monza road trips on them. Came back from Italy in a singles run and my arse only started to get really numb heading for Calais. Not much of a tank range 100 to 110 miles when touring.

I've always loved the katana's and this new one was on a list to own.
Remember sitting on the 550 version in a showroom back in 82 or around then. £1,350 brand new but mum wouldn't sign the HP agreement. Bought a couple to do up a few years ago but never got around to them so sold on.
Enjoy, I'm sure it'll be superb. As said change the rear, whats not to like.

There's more than one reason limited to 500 units

I'm not so keen anymore, and not much changed by all accounts.
