I feel lucky to live 5 mins from a very good KTM dealer and 15 mins from one of the best Triumph / Ducati dealers in the UK.

Doesn't help the bank balance.

The S is still £15-16k new??

I balked at the £13.6k the Trumpet cost.

To be honest - the bike still needs to trawl across farmyards and fields so I can see the girls. That means a 21" front - that means an R, not an S.

I like it but wouldn't buy one.

My season didn't start until June. The RS didn't turn a wheel - my enthusiasm for Sunday boats waned hugely and I don't know anyone locally who rides.

Bought the Tiger and despite it being  a little underpowered for my liking I've done 1100 miles on it mainly commuting and going to see the girls showjumping. Hoping Oulton BSB will be dry as that'll be a day out on it too.

The lack of shove has dampened the Tiger a bit. I really thought I'd be OK with 90bhp - I'm not. Expect a for sale post soon if it isn't traded for a 1290 Adventure R CB KTM have in at the moment. 😬

I've ridden mine 4 days on the trot now.

Everything looks in reasonable order. Managed to set rider sag but judging by the speed of the rebound, I think the shock has seen better days.

I think either a Multistrada V4 or a used Streetfighter V4S.

If I enjoy my year on the Tiger (just missing a bit of shove really) I think the Multistrada might win.

Of course. I forgot about the circumstances behind the SDR3 purchase.

My comment on the ZH2 was only based around never seeing one. Not in a dealers nor on the road and we get a lot of bikes around here.

Like the idea - why did you discount it vs the SDR3?
