thanks mate wasn't sure what the pro's and cons were of a hiflo against a k&n it has a standard one on at the mo as far as i am aware

bike is due a service been on the m and p site i know the oil i want but i have 2 options on the oil filter either a k&n or a normal HiFlo filter not sure which one to get any advice would be great thanks in advance

i would never think of putting cheap parts on my bike would rather pay for the right ones than settle for anything less especially when it comes to brakes and tyre's just wondered what others use regarding pads and which is the best to go with

Demon tweaks do some "organic" ebc ones for about 15 quid had them on a r6 and that thing really stopped hard! Like stupidly hard id give them a look

it would only be for the road though i do want something decent been looking at goldfren but they only seem to be sintered one's

Been looking on ebay for a new set of front pads but can't make my mind up which one's...... sintered or ordinary ceramic carbon is there much difference had the front's off today but can't really tell which one's they are (not much meat left on them) thanks for any info in advance

Thanks for the replies...... bike is kept on the optimate wasn't sure whether it was necessary to start the bike periodically if it wasn't being used for a couple of months.

my bike hasn't been started since november as it doesn't get used over the winter ive been told to start it and let it run until the fan kicks in is this right will it do any damage ?

just taken one of the bar ends off and it comes off as one it doesn't have a seperate bolt for it if that makes sense lol

this may be a stupid question, ive seen some R&G bar ends but they are off an 09 r6 i don't suppose they would fit an 05 r6 5sl thanks in advance for any info

is it anything to worry about this has only started in the last week or so the problem is it's only about 3 miles to work from where i live though i do let the bike warm up a bit before i set off
