i was thinking trying it out round the block so to speak tbh ive got the filter out now and it has seen better days trying to get rid of a splutter it has between 3-4k which only happens when it is being ridden not when its stood and revved
ive had the carbs balanced and rejetted and changed the plugs but still have the same problem

i have the same problem with my r6 runs fine upto 3000rpm then splutters like hell between 3-4000 rpm then takes off like a scolded cat had the carb cleaned rejetted and balanced also changed the plugs but it's still the same only way i have found around it is to wind it on a little more, going to change the airfilter to a k&n as it only has the standard one in to see if that makes any diffrence  :undecided:

thanks steve the last time i filled it up which was last saturday i put super unleaded in and it seems to have made a slight difference its not doing it as much when i had the jets done they cleaned the carbs out, might try changing the coil packs to see if that makes any difference aswell

ive changed the plugs on it the carbs were rejetted and balanced at a garage i use ive also changed the fuel filter, now you mention the plug caps they didnt look too clever when i changed the plugs by that i mean the contact points inside it might be worth changing them first

had the carb rejetted and balanced as my bike was spluttering as if it was starved of fuel between 3-4 rpm it seemed to cure it but it has started to do it again i haven't let it go low on fuel it seems to be worse when the bike is warmed up any ideas cant work it out :undecided:
