Mechanical / B1H brake upgrade
August 20, 2016, 09:42:28 AM
So use that profit to buy the brake pads and save money over new callipers.

Do you need uprated braking performance?

Are you going to be using the bike that much that you are going to wear through pads at a phenomenal rate, therefore saving money in the long run by overspending on new callipers now?

It seems an excessive spend just because you don't want to spend £90 on new pads.

Buying a complete bike just for the petrol tank wasn't cheap either but that didn't stop you.

So you don't want to replace the brake pads because that's too expensive, instead, you're going to replace the callipers?

The std B1 callipers, with pads and braided lines are awesome.

Stop being a fucking idiot.

I rode a 12r once, possibly the most disappointing bike I ever road :-(

Really? In what way Lewis?

I loved mine, took me a while to get used to the size of it and adjust my riding to suit. Stupidly stupidly fast (mine was a first gen A1P so not restricted), comfortable, great handling for such a big bike provided you have the right profile rear tyre fitted, great tank range, great brakes etc if well maintained.

Kawasaki recommends Semi so go with that

I seem to remember Kawasaki recommending fully synth oil for the B1?

Looks good side on, pig fucking ugly from the front. As to what it's actually like as a bike, to ride and stuff, haven't got a fucking clue.

Failing that, sell the bike and buy a new car like I've just had to do lol

Don't buy the TLR, stick the B1 back in road trim and sell all the carbon crap. Remember why you kept it for so long in the first place.
