Anyone washed out their boots before? I have supertech-r boots and they are starting to stink a bit after a few uber sweaty trackdays! What's the best way to do it? I can't see any guidance on the alpinestars site.

After a recent 700 miles weekend trip to wales and getting caught in rain my alpinestars SMX Plus boots were starting to smell like London underground in the summer.

Took out innersole,  sprayed inside boots with Lysol Disinfectant Spray, left to dry overnight then put in a few lenor dryer sheets and left overnight again. I chucked the innersole in a pillow case and put them thru washing machine. Job done :)

yeah its a foam you rub it into the insides and hey presto (it would do nothing for the outside)
