I've got some.  They are very good, but not as effective as my custom moulded ones.
Can't verify the pseudo-science stuff about frequencies but as something between custom-moulded and disposable you could do a lot worse.

I quite like the idea of them. I find expandable plugs uncomfortable after a while and the custom ones so had made donkeys ago were never as good expandables.

They are still sort of expandable, just better quality foam a bit like good in-ear headphones.  You get the aluminium body and three sizes of foam.  To put them in you still roll the foam then it expands in your ear canal.  Worth giving a go.
