I'm not looking to detail my bike (HD Breakout) however I would like to clean it properly. What products would you lot recommend for cleaning the engine , wheels etc?

Just doing some due diligence before I buy a bike online. Seems legit and I've spoken to him and just wondered if anyone has dealings with him?http://www.mobilemotorcyclemechanic.co.uk

Not tempted by a totally different bike to keep the Indian company (what I meant by my quip but I think you got that)!?!?
I did have the XSR700 but every time I went to the garage I'd pick the Bobber. Was only using it for the odd commute to work. The sensible thing to do would have been to sell it but who does sensible when it comes to bike purchases. 😄

After the deluge of responses and PM's I'm going to stay. :azn:
Moz- you may well be correct but Mondeo/Vectra please.
Alzo- A 5 plus bonus ball win surely, not the biggie?

Bike Talk / Not sure if I should even be on here?
June 04, 2018, 07:52:25 PM
So as you no know I purchased an Indian, very nice it is too.

But after a brekky run with a mate, I ended up trading in my XSR700 and getting this to compliment the Indian.

So any interest I have in being a sports bike rider has disappeared. Just gotta accept that my body isn't suited anymore and keep riding what i can.
Please don't make me join a HOG Forum. Please.

Bike Talk / New lid advice
April 17, 2018, 08:28:16 PM
So I think i'm gonna buy this lid. Comes in two versions-
Carbon with a dark visor at £670-https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/264046
or standard with a visor for £300-http://www.helmetcity.co.uk/bell-star-solid-matt-black-sale-visor-offer/
Is the extra cost of the Carbon one really worth the cost although it wins the style battle?

Checking emails I've confirmation that it was ordered on the 20th of October, a whole 19 weeks till the agreed delivery date.  Extra ammo I suppose.

Bobber build rather than the 2017 launched bobber factory model.

Looks bloody cool though.
Nice bike but 2 years old now. I might get that seat though, really compliments the bike.
Although at nearly 400 sheets, it might have to wait a while.
