Just done a tank swap on the Harley , what's the best way to store the old tank , drained fuel and got it open in the garage at the moment , hoping the residue will evaporate , is this the correct thing to do?

well ive got the new bike , didnt end up getting a brand spanking new bike , as the missus vetoed me (shes paying half) and also wants to learn to ride so she can ride it

bought a throw away lid for the other half (4 star rated so still safe)

and im absolutely blown away with the quality for the price , finish is perfect , has a nice weight to it , visor movement is very nice all is good quality , the inside feels quite premium also

and its all for under £30 delivered for a helmet that not only score higher for safety than alot of £400-£500 helmets it also feels nice inside

if anyone is after a "cheap" lid or wanting a spare i would 100% recommend the Agrius rage

bit of a strange one , needing to do an oil change on the duke as ive poured most of it over the road , all i can find is everyone online saying it must be fully synth must be fully synth etc , but im always told to follow the manual of which it says and i quote "partially synthetic" the recommend motorex formula 4t as the oil , but is that going to be sufficient giving the type of engine it is?

what im trying to work out is who seems to know best , the people that built it , or every single person that rides one

Snapped a bolt on the ktms oil filter cover (Indian bolts) you can get on it but not to grip it , who had this happend to? Engine like bolts ? And what's best way of getting it out I'm thinking a left drill bit slowly should pull it out

needing a new pair of street gloves , been a very long time since i bought gloves , what do people use/recommend? ive seen the KNOX orsa leather which looks quite decent , but yesterday was the first id ever heard of it

well the other week I took the b1h out for a spin
20 of miles in and I realise there is no back pressure on the rear brake , not sure what has happened , but the fluid looks well questionable.
need to know what I need to do to resolve it?
if its strip the calliper id rather replace it , I would say the fluid is contaminated?

any advise given would be appreciated as I need to fix this by the 1st may

Started as rain when I left work and thought nothing of it , 5 mins later I'm in 3 inches of snow on the bike managed to make it to mile 9.7 of my 10 mile commute and smash down I go taken a nice chuck out the side panel atleast , and possibly broken my shoulder , anyone else come acropper today because of snow?

Well 3 days riding has affected my discs massively , obviously I'd like them to look like new again , what's the best way to get the rust removed without damaging the discs?

Got a problem with the deauville wouldn't fire yesterday I put it down to being the cold , put battery on charge as I drained it trying to start , fully charged battery and even colder outside and much to my surprise the bike fires without much problem which made me wonder , so I ride it to work everythings fine leaving work it really struggled to start but it did riding home seemed fine heated grips on etc I get closer to home and I notice when I indicate the rev counter was going up 1k insync with the indicator , I get home after noticing the instruments are dimmer than usual ,then it cuts out right outside the house , then won't start ,battery flat as a pancake , starter wouldn't even click , now am I right in assuming it's the alternator?
