Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I need a tube/shim made for a motorcycle axle.......Stainless steel will be fine, Dimensions are OD 25mm ID 20mm D39mm....so its not very big! It needs a cut along the depth......something like this quality pic

The cut is so it will pinch the axle when the fork lugs are tightened

Any ideas of who can make it and what i should be paying? Im in Aylesbury, Bucks

You could get extruded ally tube for that. I've designed loads of dies to extrude that size over the years. It has excellent corrosion resistance characteristics and there is less chance of galvanic corrosion with the bottom of fork leg.
I'd speak to these people and see if they have got any 25mm diameter tube with a 2.5mm wall in 6082 T4 or T6 alloy. They make ladders out of this alloy. It is very tough.

I see this company's name on the section drawings all the time for the extruders we supply to. Go bang on the door and ask nicely, they may have an offcut in the bin if they have supplied a short length of it. They are one of the major players in the as metal stockists. If they can saw it to length, you can cut a groove down its length with an angle grinder (I would in your positions anyway)
