The P8 will be a better bike in track.
Both will feel slow as fuck compared to the KTM.

That's a good thing. I've always really enjoyed corner speed and the one thing the KTM can't do is corners like a sports bike can.

No regrets. It's perfect for the road. I'm lucky I have a small budget I am prepared to spend on something completely different for the garage.

It is still for sale , wasn't too energetic about selling it , it's perfectly sorted for track , it's got low 13k on the clock , needs nothing , and I'm down in Kent....

I think I'll have more fun on a supersport 600 - SDR wasn't all that on the airfield. It's a road bike.
