Only because the Seton MT10 he was going to ride has been denied him by the owner

Both bikes still available. I've viewed the P8 and knocked him down a bit more. It's a bit tatty but then it is a 10 yr old bike with 23k miles. It's HPi clear - checked that too and insurance is £75 to add it to the Beast's policy (nearly half that admin fee  ).

I think I do need to view the B1. I know the P8 is a better bike but it won't be as "classic" as the B1.

But the suspension and brakes on the P8 should be better.

Anything else out there (super sport) around the £2800 mark anyone knows of??

I ain't paying £2800 for a B1. There's a lovely black one totally standard for £2500 near me.

Alot of low mile b1s go for that down here , hard to think there is that much of a price difference regionally

Why hasn't yours flown out the door then?

I live in the arse end of nowhere so the used private market is restricted on whether people are prepared to travel vast distances to even view a 15 year old bike let alone buy. Same for me with yours.

The bottom line is I have a budget and extras or not, yours is not within reach for me. Considering it had an Autotrader advert for it, I would have expected it to go long ago. It hasn't so why do you think that is?

One thing I noticed, none of your descriptions of yours actually details the mileage. Was it on one of the photos? How many miles has it done?
