Title: Roads very slippery ATM
Post by: ash on December 23, 2013, 10:56:35 AM
Had the back end spin up with accompanying sidestep and brown trouser moment yesterday afternoon.
Came off a roundabout onto a road with a gentle curve so not quite 90 degrees upright, gave it a couple of hundred feet and then wound it up fairly gently to about 8k where it span up. I really wasn't expecting it to be so slippery...hoo hu, better to find it out under acceleration than braking.

Roads feel worse this year for some reason :(

On my ride into Bristol I've felt it spin up and start to slip on a few occasions,  but I wouldn't say that the roads are much worse than last year.

Maybe a moment of complacency?

had less slips and slides this year so far
but they haven't done a huge amount of gritting yet, which probably helps
and also a change of tyre since last year, as my blade and the BT023's just didnt get on
