£2350 buys you a rather alot of nice Ducati nowadays it seems! thats £700 less than my slightly battered/crashed SP1 cost when it was a similar age!
man I would love that in my garage.... one of my all time fave bikes.
so buy it already!!
In like flynn..... Might be just what I'm after..
hugely under rated bike in terms of looks and performance in my view, and a shrewd investment......
Sadly for me, my toy outlay has been well exceeded this month.
Go for it Moz
I've pm'd him.
Only concern for me is service history (essential), the fact its not got its ECU red key and getting an MOT with the Termis.
Hoping it'll be fine - tempted, very tempted.
If i had the money i would snap that up in a heartbeat
me too, but I think Moz's approach is wiser. Whilst it might be in mint condition, without the service history and key, it'll be more likely to fall in value in the short term.
still a future classic in my book...... one of those 'never really captured public imagination but epic now' kinda things.
That seems suspiciously cheap =/
Check the price of other 749's that are around at the moment ...

I did think that, also the fact it has the later model fairings on and later model swingarm is gonna make people think it's been badly crashed and repaired.
I'm still awaiting his call.
I thought exactly the same thing. Plus, the Termi's are impossible to baffle (if they are the model I think they are) so MOT will be a challenge and the lack of red key is also a minor annoyance. I need to be sure its running its Termi ECU as if its not, you need the red key to change it to suit the exhaust.
Maybe not such a bargain. It states he bought it for trackdays so maybe he had no need to put it on the orad. I need to though.

not wanting to piss on your chips dude, but didn't you say the gixxer riding position was fucking you up? will a duke not be more extreme??
I just want a bike to use on the airfield and do the odd summer ride. At £2300, that's worth it. Having £5500 in a GSXR750 that was painful wasn't.
Go for it Moz,,you know what happened last time you dilly dallied.
I had Termi's on my 999 and never had a problem with mot.
Sold.
7 previous owners. No HPi check. Zero service history. No tax, no MOT.
Previously used on track. Likely to have had a biggy.
You've not bought it have you????!!
Obviously not.
I have an RRSP with my name on it. Just trying to convince the owner to pull it out of storage sooner than the end of Apr he's promised it for me. Hope he doesn't change his mind.....

^Despatched one of those for a day Moz, thought it was one of the best handling bikes I'd ever ridden.

That's why I wish he'd hurry up and decide to sell to me.
I had an FZR600R when I first passed my test, fecking loved it, would have loved the 750 or 1000 though.
