Pretty sure that is from an R1, 2000-01.
Many thanks.
Was fairly sure about the bike, not the year. You have confirmed.
The earlier one didn't have the temp in the rev counter and the later one had the idiot lights up the righthand side.
Modern classic potential buy.
I do like the old r1s. Hard to find one that hasn't been wheelied to death or painted in Marlboro colours.
Not totally original but what about this one??

Looks lovely...and the blue is the colour to have.
Very nice Moz how much for that
Apart from the gold fitting kit for the damper and the blue levers, I really like it!
How many miles? How much?
Dash above is from the actual bike. Just wanted to make sure it was genuine as I didn't recognise it. So, 6600 miles (MOT validated apparently) and £3500.
Ohlins was bought brand new and fitted by previous owner.
Agree with the levers and damper mounts. They'll go.
Looks nice, that.
Modern classic........me thinks not.
Not a bad bike, but classic ? The first R1s are classics...flawed, but classics.
A carb'd R1 is easily a modern classic.
In my opinion.

100%
For me it's a safe bet...may not shoot up in value...but it will stay solid...still a quick machine.
R7?

Would appear to be about £20k over budget....
Lol
