Which one is better value? Is the ZX10 the bike to have over the dated R1?

Mostly track use - 10R.
Mostly road use - R1 without a shadow.
Define better value...in pure money terms the question will be dependant on your buying prowess...all 1000cc are quicker than most can cope with...it comes down to what you like looking at...try before you buy.

Why...a Honda Fireblade must be one of the best usable Thou's out there...there's nothing between any of them in terms of ability and performance...only at the very top of the range do some differences appear...but they will never show themselves in anything but comparison tests in track conditions.

not ridden the other 2, so can only go by what owners have said about them
al owns both blade and R1

I know for fact fuel usage on R1 is very bad, especially compared to blade which is excellent
I actually like all 3 bikes very much and would be happy with any of them
To my eyes the Kawasaki doesn't have the build quality of the other two...the R1 looks very bulky...and the fuel consumption as mentioned is poor...so of the 3 mentioned the Honda is the one...my opinion of course.
I'm so shallow and shit at riding that I'd go for the ZX10R in white on looks alone.

I quite fancy a 10R. Looks great and from what I've read and heard sounds great as well. Plus, it's a Kawasaki, which always makes it the bike of choice, all other things being equal.
