its beautifull how much that set you back? looks a lot better than the other 07 models might have something to do with the headlight covers
Sweet ride....looks overkill for the road though

some of them look alright bit of a race esque but I agree a lot of ones that don't look right
Are those 16.5 inch wheels?
Looks like it crashed into the Demon Tweeks shop window.

Good spot. The rear certainly looks like it with that big slick.
Yep the wheels are 16.5 dymags. I will be removing a few of the stickers a bit later today.
Why remove anything...you obviously like the Race Rep look...it may not be to everyone's taste...but YOU bought it...YOU like it...and that is all that matters...boring shit planet if we were all the same.
Agreed with Alzo until I saw the Pirelli stickers on the forks and the Bridgestone ones on the tail, OCD overload, we need some consistency here!

Well that's you screwed for tyres then.

And the brembo stickers on the fairing and swingarm with AP racing calipers fitted and AP racing sticker on the frame. Looks like a race bike but the sticker arent consistent if your being extra pedantic! Some cash has been spent on that!
Can you even get 16.5" road legal tyres?
I agree about the stickers. Loads of them are overkill. Ive taken a few off and plan to leave only the ones that are part of the paint job
Its got cut slicks on. I took it out today....very gingerly......the tyres heat up ok and seem to get hotter than i would get road tyres at a gentle pace. I didnt push it at all into the corners as ive only got small balls! :embarrassed:

I'd check those slicks to make sure that they are legal to use on the road, also slicks tend to have only a few heat cycles, and once they are past their best they will go like bubble gum once they start to get hot.
I cant see "not for road use" on them so presume they are ok? I will go back out after BSB and see what tyres they are. I thought Pirelli were to continue to make 16.5 inch road tyres?
still wanna know how much this beast set you back....

Don't know about the insurance aspect, but certainly worth investigating a bit more
They don't make 16.5 inch road tyres - or even dry race tyres with any tread - hence why they are only any use for track bikes.
Considering BSB went to 17s this season, I'd suggest 16.5s are about as useful as a chocolate fire guard. I'd be selling them and putting the cash towards a decent set of 17s
Did it come with the stock bits too?
Do you know the real history of the bike?
Nah only came with whats on it as i got the price as low as he would go. He will sell separately what ever stock parts he has.
The history of the bike is as much as the guy told me. I dont know anyone who knows the bike. Its got all old tax discs, mots etc and RJS Superbikes at Mallory have done most of the work to it
Looks mental. Aside from what people have said about the stickers, change the screen for a clear one..... It's a race rep' not streethawk
lol......the stickers are coming off.....ive been out there all day peeling them off! There was a shed load on there
Looks awesome, and a lot cleaner with some stickers off.
I thought it was a proper race bike at first - very slick.
Cheers matey.

Reason I ask is that you're going to struggle to get it through an MOT with illegal tyres and exhaust on it. I'm guessing the seller refitted the standard stuff to get it through.
I popped into DWR racing and he said the same. He gave the bike a good look over and liked it. The only option re tyres is to get a set of 17 inch wheels for it. He thinks the 04/05 zx10 spare set of wheels i have may fit? The exhaust needs a baffle so ive emailed Racefit to see what they can do.
Ive changed the exhaust to this.........whaddayareckon???
