What bike is the most desirable to YOU and why...only stipulation is it must be available from a Showroom right now.
Most desirable or most likely to buy ????
Most outright desirable for me is probably the MV Augusta F4R - such beauty, such a sound everything that I dreamed about as a kid getting into bikes for all the wrong reasons.... Plus I get to say I own an MV Augusta.... #dribbles

Most Likely to Buy - Kawasaki Z1000SX because I love the looks, its an awesome bike in its own right, does absolutely everything I want it to do and just because I WANT ONE
Panigale. Looks the absolute business, best looking bike out there by a country mile
Desirability depends on personal opinion and likes so not a question that has a definitive answer.

+1
Of the current crop I can say in all honesty it would be my current steed Triumph Speed Triple R...ticks all my boxes...comfy...plenty quick...handles superbly...brutish good looks...and the engine is a peach of a thing...character by the bucket load.

State both...;-)
MV F4
The MV looks dated already IMO

I thought you were buying a BMW?
Nah...had a test ride on the S1000r...does all they say...but lacked soul...160bhp is wasted on a Naked...Speed didn't feel any slower...that's how I reached the conclusion I put up here.
None, I've had a look at a few of the newer models and I would still rather have a zx7r and a sp2.
But in keeping with the thread out of all of them if have to go for a bimota bd7
these look fucking mental in my opinion

Take your Kawasaki blinkers off fella, it's fucking horrible.
I still think it looks like a halfords project.

Superduke or Victory Hammer S.
I had a play on a victory a while back, actually a really good bit of kit.
Still not a fan of the brakes though.

If I had to spend my own money on something, this would be it. It does everything.
MV F3 800.....need it.
For me, the SP version of the new Fireblade.
Having ridden my sons 2012 blade last weekend and being mega impressed I know it will ride well and the SP colours are simply stunning!
(Never been a Honda fan, never owned one but the SP is a honey)
899 Panigale or KTM RC8R if i was in the market. Or maybe a 675R
If I was forced away from the KTM I would have to go with a BMW HP4, they make me happy in my pants :afro:
Only current bike that's sparked an interest is the KTM super duke 1290.
I've pretty much lost all interest in road bikes so not paid much attention :undecided:
I'd like an Off road type bike as a Stablemate to the R...but barely get time to ride that...so couldn't justify the expense.
White ZX10R for me please. But only if I get to keep the current stable.
Panigale 899.
KTM 1290 - I'm having a hard time stopping myself buying one even at £14k.

Have you ridden one yet Andy??
No but then I've never ridden any of the bikes I've ever owned before buying them.............
It'll be no good for pillion ;-)
I'll be keeping the 14..........

Would be an epic stable if you did!!!

Looks fun.
There is nothing fun about a trials bike. They are the most alien thing you'll ever find with two wheels and an engine. Weird to ride doesn't come close.
They are awesome fun, and it's all about the technical riding control.
I forgot about the Bimota Tesi 3d

I'd agree, I've a trail/road KTM lc640 ridden it on & off road it's the most fun I've had for years, I'd love to try a pure trial bike to see how different it is to mine tho.
Trials bikes look a real challenge but nothing compares to a decent Enduro bike or crosser. To have the shove, grunt and acceleration and use it off road is awesome fun.

You've ridden a trials bike then?
Only once very slowly around a farmyard but enough to realise Dougie Lampkin is some sort of talent filled god.
panigale or 1290 superduke
didn't get my 1290 test ride at weekend as rain stopped play :(
so scheduled for next weekend, may bring forward if forecast is decent in the week

Overheard a couple of Repsol Montesa owners at the trial last week saying how much easier all the sections were on their bikes than their previous ones.
Tempted to upgrade.
Although it might not be the best bike out there for lots of reasons, and I'm not wow'd by it's looks, I keep hankering after a Street Triple R, I see GreenNinja's one and think I'd love one.
I'd also love a big bang R1, again not the best looking bike but I adore the R1 generally and with that engine it would be awesome.
Really boring and predictable, but really fancy a Blade SP
look awesome, come with decent kit on, and quick enough for most people....

Street R is one of the most fun bikes money can buy...handles like a goodun...engine is a hoot...it's almost...and I do emphasize almost as good as a Speed R.
Would have my bike back in an instant, I can't think of a bike I want to ride or look at more.... close to perfection for me!

love mine!
although it's not quite that shiny....

Welcome to have a go sometime PJ, the reason I haven't posted is there's nothing that really 'speaks' to me like the Street does.
The new BMW s1000r but the naked version
