Open to all. Doesn't have to be a bike (but then it's in the wrong section if it isn't).

I'll start - seriously considering one of these as a third bike. I might track it too. Makes you work hard for pace but has sublime handling and looks awesome. Hated it when I test rode one in 06 but fancy a re-run to include full system, PC and HM Shifter.

I have been looking at VXR8's, really really want one.
Winning lottery ticket should do the trick...but I want that every week!
I've always fancied a Honda nr but id get shot if I bought one but when ever I see one about I pine like a puppy
I'm pinning after a track bike again.
Ideally a 2004/5 r6

Can't find one at the right price/mileage.
Depends what you call the right price but there are shed loads with under 10k on the clocks
Links please.
I cant I'm on phone just look on ebay
First place I've looked, 99% of bikes on there are either shitters or dealers hoping for a miracle/buffoon.
look harder they are about your not going to get a decent one for under about £3200 no matter how hard you look
£3500 would be a nice start. eBay, Bike Trader, Gumtree, MCN don't have anything so other suggestions welcome.
completely depends on what you like and what you want it for does it need to be a litre bike? there are a lot of options
ZX10R C1/2 is top of my shopping list and that's what I have the budget for.
then look hard and you will find one if its really the bike you want ,your regret getting anything else

You only really get a sense of scale when you stand next to these planes. The pilot looks tiny in this one. I was at Fairford in 2000 and they had the stealth bomber and fighter there. They were like Tom and Jerry in size to each other. The Bomber is huge.
Of course I wasn't standing next to it as there was a big roll of razor wire around it and about a dozen troops with sub machine guns :cheesy:

Absolutely; it's even worse than an X5.....
is that even possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the case of the X6, yes.
Neither are bad though. The X6 just has not sold. I was offered the M version of it by a dealer desperate to sell them for £30k off list. I still couldn't afford it though!!!!
that's a bloody good price

Like 95%+ of track dayers, you'd probably be faster on a standard late model 600........
Probably right but people have started cheating - some extra horsepower here, another 75cc's there, adding a quickshifter or even another 150cc's when no-one is looking.

Coz they are awesome. Nothing like a V4 on full chat. Was lucky enough to ride one round cadders
how about my bike working properly (as in not breaking down) and a dry oulton?
Most things I've read about them seem to say that they are not the best track bike - great for the roads but average on track compared with even fairly modern stuff.
I know Foggy and Whit call it the worst bike they ever raced.
Right now I'm wishing for a track day at any circuit on any bike.
This week, I'd like my house completed so I can spend some time in my garage........
Don'y know why, but:

Yes!
I've been hankering after a BMW boxer custom for a while.
If I had a spare few quid, I'd be on the phone to these guys:

Unfortunately, any potential budget just went on a new kitchen...
On eBay for just over £4k, hmmmm......
Kevil's bikes are nice

now that's very special indeed....
Does it come with instructions?
im actually tempted to make an offer but lack of a useable workshop hinders me a bit at the moment
I'm no mechanical expert but I think you may be deficient in the wheels department to the tune of one.
And a frame would be handy.
just looked at the location is litrally in my town im going to have a nose

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't suppose you saw the telly this morning. There was a news article covering a bloke who's experimenting with creating a battery using carbon fiber.
The idea is that in the future, the battery can form part of the chassis, bodywork etc.
Miles off yet, but it might be one for your wank bank.

I see that it's now sold.
You didn't, did you?!
Got my eye on a bit of a modern classic - can't believe how cheap they are.
Must try and find one to ride but they are hens teeth it would seem.
Yep, if I had a 888 and a Norton in my garage, I'd be a very happy chap indeed.
I have to say that the 888 was the most horrendous bike I have ever ridden...the clutch was a switch...on or off...no in between...I'm sure a few filling came loose too.

The 900ss I had was a bit like that but it doesn't stop me wanting one!!

meh..... we've all had fit birds who were a pain in the arse.
think of it like that, only this time you get to lock the bitch in the garage.
