Title: Now on ZX6R number 5!!!
Post by: Chris C on June 23, 2014, 09:28:45 PM
I have recently bought this 2009 ZX6R, in the past I've had a G2, A1P, B1H and a C6F!!

This will basically be a track bike and that's still road legal and will keep the road fairings fitted... I only live 10 minutes away from Snetterton so get Plently of track time in.

I'm not sure if the graphics will be staying but it's got some decent extras fitted

Nice. I like the Motocard design.

Get a full system and an HM shifter on it and bobs yer uncle.

How much was it??

It was technically £4500 ( this was a part exchange against the 2010 Fireblade i just sold) and came with a PC5, Dynojet quickshifter and the module that controls it, Brembo RCS master cylinder, K & N filter, Gilles rear sets, GB engine cases and lots of other little bits and bobs.

Nice. Just a decent full system then rather than the low quality made of cheese slip-on.

;)

Coxy it's just the standard folding lever that comes on the master cylinder, thanks for the comments.

I have a little niggle with the FI light flashing and poor fuelling at low throttle inputs but have a O2 optimizer on its way that should fix it... However this is the dyno graph that came with it and does it look a little down on power? I thought they were approx 115wbhp standard?

Its got a k & n filter, the power commander 5 and the scorpion can.. It feels strong for a 600 from 8000rpm onwards?

Well, first track evening tonight and I had a great time... Failed the noise test to start with but thanks the Stef the tyre guy he managed to make me a baffle up after braking many drill bits in the process, but it did the trick

the bike was faultless and better than me, did a few 2.13 laps but making Plently of mistakes and could do with some track tyres
