Title: zx6r streetfighter air box mod?

just wondered if any one has streetfightered a zx6r g model and if so how they got it running without the ram air system? any help will be appreciated thanks

I'm guessing that everything bar the tubes from the frame to the fairing needs to still be in place for it to work properly. I've seen people using gauze to blank the frame holes off before now

yea but it wont rev properly with the ram air tubes off , theres a way of routeing the pipework to combat the problem but i cant find it on the net

Iirc, I recall seeing a pipe in the ram air vent in the fairing. Make sure all the tubes are blanked or left intact and routed under tank

older G / J model really dont lend themselves to being streetfighters for that exact reason...

I have seen the g model streetfightered and it ran fine so there is clearly a way
