I think my trusty Arlen Ness leathers are about 10 years old now, and I've had to cut the lining out because I couldn't get the bloody things on inside of an hour!
As a bloody poor person, I can't afford to buy new, and I can't see me getting to a bike show in the near future, so just wondered if anyone has/has used/has crashed in Hein Gericke leathers (particularly the ladies), and how they do? Large/small for the size?
Any help appreciated!

Awwww Dan, you sweetie!
I've owned and crashed two sets of them and walked away from both accidents unhurt.
Their textiles are excellent. I'd like to think the quality is shared across the range.
No problem comfort wise, but I neglected to crash in them. Sorry.
they are good leathers and good value for money in my experience
I've had a set for over 15 years and while dated, which I like, they have stood up very well. Wish HG were still about. Their textiles are also, as said, very good.
As someone who used to run a Hein Gericke shop I know the kit better than most. Quality across HG stuff is at the very good level. I would actually rate it slightly better than Arlen Ness. Only because we had a few Arlen ness race suits give at the stitching when I was running the shop. Leather is probably a little harder with the HG stuff than some of the other brands and maybe feels less supple but from a safety viewpoint very good. My HG stuff is all still going and I left HG in Portsmouth in 2007.
The textiles are a step up again, pretty much as good as anything out there.
Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. I don't go fast enough for it to be an issue but I wouldn't want to shell out even 10p for something which is going to be no better than tracing paper!
If I'm honest I always thought they wore crap then I had a 160mph spill in a set and walked away with only scuff and bruses to me that is leathers wore totaled but they did there job and protected me
My leathers will never need to stand up to a 160mph accident...or even 60mph most of the time!
I've had my set for 5 years now and only problem I have is that a zip had broken

Wow, where did you have a 160 mph crash?
HG leathers. Mine are still going strong after 7 years.

Auction finishes Sunday!
Won the auction with M6rk's help so I'll let you all know what happens when I get them (whether you want me to or not!).
Might be useful to some of you to get feedback on how sizes differ.
Im sure dan will be along in a minute mandating a picture....
Top job!

In the interests of offering my opinion on whether it fits correctly, of course.
Naturally it would help, in assessing said fitment, if she bent over to show how tight the leather is against her......erm...... back in a minute
