be worth ?
Quote from: eBay sellerThe head is from an engine I bought from a race team run by the father of a good friend of mine & was their spare backup engine.
It was gas flowed & skimmed by Frank Wrathall a respected tuner & as stated in the listing has HRC kit valves & valve springs with Kent race cams& slotted
cam sprockets to allow fine tuning of cam timing.
I used the engine for a race meeting at Mallory Park & 2 laps of practice at the Isle of Man TT 2011.
Due to rule changes it has been sat on a shelf in the garage since then & it's time for a clearout.
The engine it came from produced 116bhp at the rear wheel on the dyno. A standard engine on the same dyno did 109bhp but obviously I can't guarantee
a set power increase as every bike & every dyno are different.
There is also another one on ebay at the moment

As per what the advert states the head was tuned/ported and flowed by Bob Farnham, however other than this I do not know what extra parts were used other than the Kent cams or what power gains were made, though the engine was 1 of 2 matching engines he built for a racer, I collected it from him and thats what he told me.
As for how many miles since the work, Bob told me it was used for less than 1500 miles after the build and that it was only as the guy left plain water in the engines through the winter and they froze and cracked the case, he had one of the 2 rebuilt with new cases but didn't get round to doing the 2nd.
Well...??
