Going to look at an RSV4R, and pointers as what to look out for?
Other than a huge appetite for fuel I haven't heard a negative...if secondhand then all the usual things need looked at...finance issues checked...blah blah.
Already done a HPi check last night and it came through all clear so thats good to know.
They seem a sound proposition...not dogged by the electric issues of old...so if it's had its relevant services and not abused then all should be good...stupidly quick...tiny...good looking machine.
What colour is it?
Which year / model??
Is it the APRC model
2010 RSV4R it does not state APRC so will find that out when I get there.
Colour?
Blinding pink with yellow wheels
Great machine as all have said, old man has a tuono v4. Only issue is the battery, don't like sitting, even for a week or two, without a trickle charger attached and if battery goes flat it's for the bin

A lot of the modern bikes are the same...the factory immobilisers and electronics take their toll.
That seems to be the issue and cause it's gel they don't recharge the same
you need to speak to mc101 on this, he ran one in endurance series.
generally speaking other than few concerns over reliability the big issue is availability of spares. I know someone who was waiting almost 4 months for a part for the gearbox on his from Italy.
Thank you for all your pointers and tips, I am now the pround owner of an (very loud) I could not hear the guy when stood next to the bike, 2010 RSV4 Factory and pick it up on Friday.
noice :moto:
Bwaaaaarp!!!
Great looking bike James!
we need photos
All in good time my good man, all in good time. :azn: Insured and taxed it today, pick it up on Friday and new boots on Saturday.
Very nice - hope you enjoy it.
Is it the one with the enormous black can?
Stupid loud they are as Aprilia designed in an idle baffle valve that opens once you open the throttle iirc.
I know the one you mean Moz, but yeah it is, its got an Akrapovic system but doesnt come with the original dustbin/grenade launcher.
