Title: GSXR 1000 k2
Post by: YODI on October 12, 2014, 09:18:59 PM
Sorry about the ad, copied from my eBay.

Suzuki GSXR 1000  K2

- Registered September 2002
- MOT due 31st May 2015
- 3 Previous Keepers
- HPI Clear
- Both keys present
- Both Alarm fobs present
- 38,000 Miles

The bike is in very good condition for it's age and mileage, it has been well looked after and it shows in the condition and the way it rides.

It runs and rides perfectly, chain sprockets and tyres are all very good. The bike was standard when I got it, all it has is a Can and front screen.

Bad points:

- It has some light scratches to the seat unit on one side, please check out the last photo, it isn't bad but worth mentioning.
- It also needs a service so I will supply a new tub of Motul 5100 oil, an oil filter and 4 new Ngk plugs.

Please note, it will be on the standard exhaust can but we can negotiate for the Sp engineering can currently fitted (very very loud) in the photographs, or a lovely Yoshimura with stainless link pipe. The rear foot peg will also be supplied with the bike.

I am located in North London, any inspection welcome. No test pilots or tyre kickers please.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks

Hi Lewis, mot runs out on 30th May 2015.

New Road tax laws mean it's not transferable anymore.

Located in N14 north London.

Does the seller get a refund of whole months of tax left at time of sale? If so, negotiate that cash off the price.

the registered keeper gets a refund of all remaining full months , not  sure how they receive it though...

It'll be a cheque, just like the way they refunded tax before would be my bet.

Either way, its a negotiating point for the selling price.

"Price reflects the lack of tax" would be my reply.

Once it's been in a while people will be use to the fact that it's the price + fresh road tax, I've never let tax be a haggling point anyway

Yea I had not even made the connection re Tax. I think the bike will be gone before I am ready to buy, but will let you know as soon as mine is sold and if you still have it maybe we can talk further.

I have no doubt you will be able to sell without issue though :-)
