Sounds amazing....obviously going to be quick...so it comes down to the looks. It leaves me cold...at the moment I cannot take it serious...it looks like a design that never usually makes it to production...a design exercise...but it's here...time may see the looks becoming acceptable...it may look better in the flesh...too shiny in most videos or pictures to see all that's going on.
Kawasaki certainly have tried to push the boundaries in terms of performance and styling. Still cannot get excited though.

It needs a Belly pan...look Semi Naked.
Front end looks no better or worse than a lot of Gixxers sold over the last few years.
It looks worse...sometimes you can try to hard..design is far too busy...it's no Panigale.
It's a very busy looking bike. Add a belly pan, add a tail tidy, smaller exhaust and I think its s good looking bike. Can't see it ever bring a classic and looks may not age well though.

The more I see it the more I like it. It'll look different in solid colours rather than the the shiny finish shown.
Unfortunately, I seem to only be making negative comments about the recent bikes - but I think its GOPPING!
I know they're all brilliant but looks wise - out of the current crop in the genre - I only like the Panagale & the RSVR.
It's not a bike I'd choose to have but as far as it being a concept bike that's made it off the drawing board I like it. It's a busy looking design but I think it suits what they seem to be trying to do. Can't wait to see one in the flesh

It's weird that they've gone back to an old-style Ducati frame...
To me it's a great bit of kit, and while I wouldn't mind a go, I doubt that I would actually want to buy one.

2015 NINJA H2™R VEHICLE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Vehicle
The Ninja H2R is a closed course riding use only model and is not manufactured for use on public roads, streets or highways. All usage of this vehicle should be limited to riding on a closed course.
Parts
Parts designed specifically for the H2R are for closed course riding use only and cannot be purchased without proof of H2R ownership (product registration, VIN confirmation, etc.).
Exhaust Sound
The exhaust sound level of the H2R at the time of factory shipment is 120 dB/A using Auto Cycle Union (ACU) guidelines. It is the owner's responsibility to confirm that noise regulations of closed courses permit vehicles reaching this level of exhaust sound. Changes to the exhaust system may alter performance and sound level.
Usage, Maintenance and Warranty
As a closed course riding use only model, specific procedures must be followed when riding and maintaining the H2R:
Vehicle Tires:
Do not replace the tires on the H2R with any other brand and model than those offered as standard equipment:
Front: Bridgestone, Racing Battlax V01F Soft
Rear: Bridgestone, Racing Battlax V01R Medium
Kawasaki does not approve Bridgestone, Racing Battlax V02F &V02R tires for H2R usage.
Tire Warmers:
To prevent loss of tire grip, always use tire warmers to heat tires prior to riding the H2R. Cold tires do not provide sufficient grip and may cause loss of vehicle control and/or a crash which could result in injury or death.
Vehicle Storage:
When storing the H2R, always use front and rear motorcycle stands that keep both tires off the ground. This will prevent tire deformation and adverse impacts on performance.
Vehicle Maintenance:
In addition to regular periodic maintenance, service inspections are required every 15 hours of engine operation above 8,000r/min (rpm). These service intervals are monitored through the vehicle's ECU with service messages displayed on the multifunction meter. (See Owner's Manual for additional information)
Vehicle Warranty:
The H2R is sold "As is" with no warranties, express or implied. The purchaser accepts all responsibilities concerning cost of service, maintenance and repairs.

The seat unit is horrible. It looks a lot better in a walk round video I seen rather than just photos. There are some nice bits but overall it's not a looker. And that exhaust would get you a few quid at the scrappys.
We did discuss the H2 before the new R1 ever reared its ugly/gorgeous (slap/bomb) head in these halls.

It's an interesting point. My 'own' money, I wouldn't buy any of them. Big lottery win and I'd consider the Honda, just to take on a 'Reclaim Our Tracks' road bikes only day and ride it home afterwards...
After watching the dyno vid of the downpipes glowing cherry red, I understand why they aren't putting a belly pan on it.
On a lottery win if have the track h2, a desmo, the Honda, new r1, new Beemer s1000rr a load of slicks and donington park to myself and a few select friends for a day... That would be awesome

I'm still struggling with the point of the road version being turbo charged if I'm being honest, the S1000RR, R1, Panigale are all there or there about performance wise. Unless its uber efficient with the old jungle juice

FWIW Most 1K Stockers these days do that at full rpm with a ti system ...
Never the less, heat it going to be a challenge when trying to get rid of the heat produced in generating 300bhp in a package a littler over 15" square (the motor)
They could of made it a little prettier. I like the concept of a no holds barred 300bhp track bike but its still got to look and handle like a very special racebike to hit the mark like say a Desmocedici to attract the folks that are in the market for a £40k+ track bike. Would love to experience that power as its such a leap and will be interested to find out if there is more to it than the headline grabbing 300bhp. I expect that its going handle and even fuel well but the looks are a little out there, I don't dislike it but I can't say I find it visually exciting either.
The road going bike has me wondering why would I bother as its not conventionally pretty, has no more power than any other litre and costs as much as an R1M which will be equally exclusive but be better and more useful in most areas. Be interesting to see how easy it will be to get the extra 100 bhp out of the road bike as if its not too difficult then the bike suddenly has a huge new appeal.
Kawasaki has to be applauded for making the thing and I'm sure that it will become the new bike of choice for gangsta rap videos.
