Title: tarty spokes........
Post by: Carbon_ZX6R on April 08, 2015, 07:03:18 AM
I was wanting to change the spokes to orange ones on the ktm just to add a little contrast to it and I came across these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SPOKE-COVERS-KTM-HONDA-KAWASAKI-SUZUKI-YAMAHA-SPOKE-GUARDS-85-125-250-450-500-/221717306433?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item339f619c41

spoke covers.... anyone ever used them or known anyone that had? not entirely sure how they even work id imagine there a wrap around but id be interested to know if that's noticeable photos look good anyway

So you think that putting a coloured plastic straw on each spoke will look good?? they must be split to allow fitting, they will collect shit and rattle, what a crap idea.

they are a coloured plastic tube (straw) that has a split down the length to allow you to put them over the spokes, like I said crap idea  ;)

These (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bicycle-Spokey-Dokey-Spoke-Beads/dp/B004CXZSDA) look cool
and maybe try this (http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-your-bike-sound-like-a-motorcycle/) for the full effect  ;)
Rim tape, however, definite no-no
