well its been about 7 months since I last fired up the zx6r (f3) and I tried it just now and absolutely amazed the battery has plenty of life in it but it wont turn over doesn't even try to turn over starter goes and its not struggling due to lack of power or anything , what are the possible culprits and what must I do to rectify?
Hi carbon,
Just to clarify, are you saying that the starter motor is spinning but it isn't turning the engine over?

I push the button it makes the noise it usually makes but its not trying to fire if that makes sense?
Drain the fuel, put fresh in, make sure the battery is actually fully charged (it won't be after 7 months) then try again.
It's turning over but not firing

So is the engine being turned over? Or is just the starter motor spinning but it isn't turning over the engine?

well ive managed to make her roar back into life thankfully , now issues are as follows throttle is sticking , its always done this a tiny bit but now I manually have to shut it (oil the cable???) , also the front brake light switch seams to not be working , its worked and not worked in the past I imagine there pretty simple bits of kit would it be worth me taking it apart apposed to replacing it?
Bump!
