Title: How to price my Gen 2?
Post by: Maddog on August 10, 2015, 04:53:09 PM
Right....i need some opinions on how to price my bike that i MAY have to sell due to starting a new job in a couple of months. If i can keep it i will!

Its a 2007 ZX10 with Akrapovic carbon exhausts, AP Racing calipers front and rear, Brembo race discs, Ohlins rear shock, Giles adjustable rear sets, Samco hoses, Carbon frame/swingarm protection, Fonsi Nieto WSB PSG-1 dream machine race paint, Translogic F series micro dash with Translogic quick shifter, Power commander III, GPR steering damper, ISR fully adjustable brake lever and ISR M/C, ISR clutch lever, R and G crash mushrooms  and lock stops. From memory approx 8k on the clocks with full MOT. Featured in Fastbikes a few months back.

If poss id like opinions of what its worth as a package. Then id like to know if its worth more if i take the pimped up bits off and sell separately bringing it bac to standard (i have no std bits so take this into account)

Cheers folks

It's always worth more back to standard and sell the trick bits. The magazine article will help you but you'll always get people asking what damage is under the frame and swing arm covers.

If you kept a photo diary of the build that may also help.

As is, I think you'll be lucky to get £7k for her.

Cheers mate.

I could always take the carbon covers off to take some pics and show there's no damage as long as it wont ruin the carbon bits lol

that is a great looking machine, I think it needs to stay together as a package and if you have no standard parts prob not worth the hassle and cost of sourcing them and then selling the trick bits - I could be wrong.

Good luck either way.
