Anyone going?
If so when?
Second Saturday - 5th I think.
First Sunday or fri 4th for me
Monday the 1st.
Got a few meetings, and then I will be out of there.
Might drag Steff along on the 5th :-)
Sounds like the 5th is favourite but I have arranged to marshall an enduro on the 13th so may struggle to get a pass.
But having won a pair of tickets it seems a shame to waste them.
Looking like the 5th is favourite :azn:
PJ do you want a passenger :azn:
I could do the 5th......
I need to take a good gander at a prospective purchase
I'm thinking of going along. I can't remember the last time I went to the NEC bike show. It used to be the only thing that got me through the winter!
I'll be there sitting on a Victory Gunner for too long and making everyone feel a bit uncomfortable....

Well if seen my new bike today, and there's a 15% discount if I order it this week.
Just need to shift the WR450
*another* trumpet?!
Nope.
75nm of torques at 60 rpm, very low weight, and just about road legal (for now anyway)
Begins with an "S" and ends with "ecialized"? :)
Oooh yesh!
Excellent work, sir.
Just one question...
What the fuck is a Secialized?
Ticket purchased, see you all on the 5th lol
Ticket also purchased :azn:
Right then, what are the chances of us actually meeting up when we get there this time?
I am sure I walked straight past Alzo a couple of years back.
I shall no doubt be wearing some kind of MCNNinjas branded komp merchandise.

I'm just thankful there wasn't some kind of atmospheric flex and world wide tidal waves when we exchanged a brief man-hug.......... the lightning was enough.......
Persuade you to join the gathering on the 5th Sir Danoir? Would add a certain gravitas to the event.

I'm under instruction to "get that fucking kitchen finished", and with a christmas party I'm committed to: that leaves me 3 full weekends and one full (hungover) Sunday plus any week days/evenings I can wangle.
I have suggested it as an interim break; which went down like a lead balloon on the basis that "we've just had a fucking holiday" (lass really does have a reet potty mouth)..... BUT, with a tail wind this weekend I may well get ahead of myself and with the aid of my puppy dog eyes and winning smile, I may be able to charm her around.
So, it's a Yes with an "if", or a No with a "but".
I'd love to go though, it's been too long since I've caught up with many of you knuckleheads...... and, well.... dagnamit I miss ya!!!
No with a but means yes.
Yes with an if means in the arse, or something like that.
OK, so it's a yes if:

Not for long.
It won't help Dan, but I've just booked my ticket.
I'll smooth it over with Anna - get your good self to the NEC a week Saturday.
I'll work my nuts off this weekend and see where we are on Monday.
In fairness to by beloved wife, I too would like a finished kitchen by Christmas....... I only started it 2 years ago!!

you'd get fed in doing so
I'm definitely there Saturday.
Who do I need to avoid look out for?
Unfortunately I won't be....... you'll be devastated to learn that I've been rather unwell.
I'm feeling much better now, celebrate that in your own way.... fireworks, days off etc..... but the down side is, that I lost a weekend on the house.
Have a great time one and all....... 2016, we should make it our business to have a holistic shin dig
I have also been unwell, still am a little but I am man enough to not lose one of my only annual pink chits for a full day.
Plus I want to tear into Yamaha UK about this gearbox recall......
Me, Neil and Chojin will be there from about 11.30am-ish depending on traffic.
Shall be there ASAP, not sure what time we are all setting off yet :)
11ish for us lot... :) :moto:

Nope can't make it Sat as he's in London
I went on wednesday and thought it was a half decent show for a change. The 2017 Suzuki looks good from the front but then they must have got bored and tagged the back of a GS500 on. ZX10 looks good, slightly less angular than the current model, I like it. There is a Speed Triple on the Pipewerx stand which I thought was epic, bit of a streetfighter type thing but done properly. Overall, not bad.
I've heard others say this years show is better than recents.
Looking forward to it.

Pretty much what Moz said although I do like the Thruxton (not the pricing though).
best show for a few years I reckon, enjoyable day out :azn:

My mate got an identical picture and I know we were on that stand at least 90 mins before you. I do wonder if they actually moved all day!!
They certainly did.
What's the potential doubt about the Thruxton R?
Not as good in the flesh as in the pictures?
Or just the pricing?
I think I need four bikes...
Five if I include an H2...
Thruxton is just not quite what I had imagined..quite narrow and the band holding the tank on is a touch too far...certainly looks a little feeble in comparison to the Nortons.
Yamaha M10 is a hideous creation...it looks unfinished everywhere...0/10.
I totally forgot the naked R1 - biggest fuck up of the show.
Horrible doesn't even come close.
I think the bike of the show for me was an MV.
Can't remember which model for some reason :/

I can't see it winning any fans. Genuinely looked as if bits had been removed...the rear light assembly looked as if a panel was missing. The Expansion bottle cover was a joke...just wrong on all levels.
