Post by: 1-600-matt on March 21, 2016, 11:04:46 AM
I had never ridden one before, but on a mates stag do this weekend we did karting and minimoto. So much fun!! Really twitch at the start, took a couple of laps to settle into it... Great fun though!

Not done it in a while but absolutely love mini moto - probably because it is a realistic size bike for me!

All fun and games until you get stuffed up the inside by an 8 year old with a better weight to power ratio.

There aren't many 8 year olds with a better power to weight than me..... there's a childhood obesity crisis you know!

Did this when they first appeared 20+ years ago.
I got told off for doing wheelies when I 'won' our race.

As with most its been ages since ive been on a minimoto.

So much fun though. I think my highlight was 'highsiding' coming out of the last corner at matchams. Couldn't stop laughing

I got T-Boned by Charlie Boorman at the Edinburgh Bike Show a few years back in a Minimoto race...the fucker was actually really quick.
