Yesterday I was in Nottingham meeting with the boss of Moto-Direct the importers of Arai, AGV, Dainese, Alpinestars etc.
Anyway, we had a very productive meeting and then he said, tell me what you think of a new bike I have just brought. Went downstairs, and parked alongside a couple of 500GP bikes (Nial Mackenzie's) there sat a brand new Kawasaki H2R.
It was brought as an investment and so it is unregistered and will not turn a wheel, like the NR750 that is also there, but the Kawasaki is certainly a Marmite bike.
Personally, I did not like it, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Here's a strange thing...I ain't keen on them in the Showroom...but out on the street they are awesome looking...and a breath of fresh air in amongst the usual crowd.

I meant the road going version...similar in style.
I like the idea of it but to me it's not a pretty machine or even particularly stylish
I think they are minging. Can't think of a single reason for it's existence to be honest.
There's elements of them that I like, but all together as a machine I see the appeal some people have, but it's not for me.
I saw one of the road-going versions in Kent last year on a bright sunny day and it looked good with that fancy paint.
Like the idea of it.
If I was Jay Leno I'd probably have one.
But only really makes any sense if you already have a sportsbike, a trackbike, an adventure bike, an offroad bike, a tourer, a bimble-around-on-Sunday bike, a Harley, a custom, a classic, etc...
