and while the looks of the S1000R are in my mind a little challenging it's looks better than the MT10 too - slam dunk then :azn:. Shit I may even have to go and test ride one now, S1000R that is.
Far to much power for the road.

The S1000r is like a Cross eyed chick with a great figure.

It's not...it can be as slow or as fast as you want...power from top to bottom...keeps you out of trouble...gets you in to trouble.
I don't care what anyone says about the throttle going both ways, we all twist it one way, that's why you love these things

You could say the same of my car, but so what. That's what makes it fun.

I generally twist it the one way..definitely don't want any less power...Enjoy the 160 to the max.
I am going the opposite and down sizing to 50/60 bhp supermoto.

I was wrong...yip...wrong...it's actually turned out to be the best bike I have owned...not flawless...but a seriously good bit of machinery...just entered year two of Ownership and nothing else interests me...Panigale for looks...but that won't happen.

it was a rocky start to your love affair as I recall?....... bit like one of those George Clooney rom-com's where you meet and instantly dislike each other, but circumstance humorously brings you together.........
Presumably, you've been through the whole 'rush to the airport' comedy scenario.
Classic
I was hormonal and poor PDI from Dealership. I now love it like no other.
Some bikes are like that. First few times I rode my SP2 I wondered what the hell I'd just spent a load of money on!
I liked the engine immediately...couldn't believe then and still amazed now at the way it pulls from any revs in any gear...it could be a bit better build quality wise...and possibly a bit prettier up front...but I forgive it for all its shortcomings when buried deep in to a fast sweeper and it tracks beautifully...feels rock solid...the howl from the exhaust...and the seemless power lifting the front at three figure speeds...it doesn't get much better.
