Title: VFR 800
Post by: Raydial on July 19, 2018, 01:47:55 PM
Idly toying with the idea of getting a VFR800 as a second bike for longer runs out of the city and doing a bit of touring on. Does anybody have any advice/tips about them?

E.g.

And a translated link in case your German's nicht so gut.  :cheesy:

Early V techs were berated...sorted as they progressed...bloke I ran with had a Crossrunner...same engine...and if he sustained speeds above 80 to 85 mph it drank fuel at a bigger rate than any of us expected.
In terms of everything else they are still a safe predictable motorcycle and could still show some more recent machinery up in terms of durability and stable safe handling.

account at work had one for years
quite an old one, but he loved it
i dont recall him having any particular issues.. other than those associated with the old age (of the bike)
