Hard pass.

The looks seem to be less Patrick Moore and more Panigale.

If i done that id always be wishing id got the newer version.

IMO the new one does resemble the Duke, and is far better looking than the outgoing. Will have a mooch over to the BMW stand at the NEC and see if its on display. See what Military discount is on offer :)

I haven't seen pictures of the actual bike.
.so thought you had...only poor spy shots and computer renders.
It will be blisteringly quick as per existing model...😊

Rumours are it's to be 215 bhp reverse crank engine,  electronic suspension, better electrics package. Gonna wait a year before I decide on getting one or not.

That computer image just looks like the bastard lovechild of a Panigale and an R1.

Two HP4 race s1000`s were at Jerez last week, one was Baron Von Grumble (Look up is you tube video review of the bike, quickest of the event he was (1.49 I think)... Amazing pieces of Kit Chris said himself he couldn't ride anything else as fast..!!

Actually heres a link to his reviews, top two from the Jerez week..

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=baron+von+grumble+jerez

I know they are not the exact same but if these are anything like that, 68K for the race and 15K for the entry level version of the new model, whats not to like  :moto:

New S1000RR has losts its identity...has taken styling from all the other manufacturers and merge it in to one...pretty much looks like every other bike now...performance and ability will be great no doubt.

I'm sold and will get one late 2019, early 2020. Give them a while to sort a few gremlins out.
Had a letter for a second recall on the GSXR. Not major but just inconvenient as no local dealer here anymore
