Post by: Alzo on January 26, 2019, 07:57:22 PM
I like Indian...stopped at dealership the other day and was impressed with the build quality...lumps of iron...but tickled me...great second bike if I had the spare cash.

Do it...I'll run it in whilst you're out of town.

They are cool bikes, as were the Victory bikes before them.  Proper modern versions of the classic American bike.  Still wish sometimes I'd bought a Victory Judge when you still could.

Not keen on that style of bike, but......................................
If I had your spare cash my big garage would be filled with bikes.  ;)

Alba Customs in Edinburgh had a few Victory's in. Not sure if unregistered or 2nd hand but if they were, they looked like new.

FTR1200 concept was lovely but the inevitable road kit ruined it. Happens with all bikes I guess.

That's a hard one...would like to see both in the flesh...Speed Twin has a purposeful stance...and reviews are favourable...smallish tank limits it a little...their words not mine.
Good choice to have...and I'll happily run in either...or both...oh and the Himalayan...😉

Build quality was the thing that grabbed me...great detail and finish...not done with hooning despite the wanting to be for the sake of my liberty...but once is does pass or I'm urinating myself and enjoying the heat I might go back and purchase one.

Yeah they reckoned it was 38mpg at best...which may improve...but even if I wring the Rs neck I still get 43mpg...Euro 16 I averaged 46mpg over that whole trip...17.5 gallon tank on R...
