Need some help guys.
I've a 18 plate Z1000R registered end of of April last year.
I've had constant problems with it originally it went in for a Oxygen sensor fault went in the 1st of September and I got it back on the 19th October it went in twice for the same fault again.
But tonight it's developed an electrical fault with the indicators the left indicator is constantly dimly on and I can turn the indicators on with the ignition off and the key out.
I've about had enough now bikes done less than 2k and is constantly developing electrical issues.
Where do I stand on rejecting it as not fit for purpose?
You write to the supplying dealer stating you're rejecting the bike on the grounds that they've been unable to fix a recurring problem. Stick to your guns and don't be robbed off with any bullshit about manufacturers or warranty. Your Contract is with the supplying dealer, and theirs is with the manufacturer and their problem.
Look up the Sale of Goods act. I think the clause is something about 'not being of saleable quality' rather than fitness for purpose.
I know a guy that did this with a BMW M2 so it's doable.

I think they'll give you a hard time of it.
