The bike is languishing in the garage...not much use...I have cleaned the bike multiple times with Vulcanet Wipes to fill in some ling winter days...cleans all surfaces...the Matt appears to clean up nice and even...I don't have any fears that the finish will not hold up.

There's not a bad review to be found to be honest...only managed 100 miles so far...had to adapt from inline 4 riding...but the transition was made easy with the refined feeling from the big V Twin...I'm excited at the prospect of getting to know the bike.
They were at the press launch so did some road miles and track time at Portimao and were raving about it. They know their onions too.
It would probably be my #1 choice for a road bike if I used it as much as you, and it looked better. I keep saying that this is the year I'm going to get my road riding mojo, so you never know.

It looks way better in the flesh...the pictures don't do it justice...but we all see things differently...I think it's the best looking bike I've owned...raw and mechanical looking...it's going to entertain for sure.
I hope you do find your Road mojo...it's such a good way to spend time.
I suspect you're right about the looks. It's one of those things, I know it's well designed but I'm tired of the Transformer look....... the rear is lovely, I love the high tail.
Tell you what though...... spec'ing one up on the internet is a bit:

It's £15699.00...you add £830 for Tech Pack that is a must...and £250 for Heated Grips...so £16779.00...then add in some admin fees and Road tax and it's pennies off £17k.
I can tell you in complete honesty...I got my bike with all the above for £13500.00...still a tasty sum...but a huge saving over retail...and I got good money for my S1000R. It's my last performance machine...I can see an R9T in a few years as I drift in to maturity.
