Both got off fairly lightly for a high side, quite spectacular according to the Marshall that came running over.
Bike was more or less stationary when it landed on its right side.
I just had a couple of bruises and a small morel lavallee lesion on my right thigh - especially when compared to some that come up on a Google search
Managed to get a full set of original fairings at a good price, so didn't need to use the repaired top fairing and right hand fairing
Helmet a bit scuffed but rest of kit stood up to it well.
Still to fix the Blueflame exhaust, but will get there.
Gutted for you man. Bike looking nice and clean again though, and glad you're in fine fettle.
Nice bike that, I'd keep the standard 'zorst.
FFS Dave. You're getting too auld to be throwing yirself off motorbikes. Glad you never done much damage to yourself. You've done a good job repairing the 6.
Keep it shiny side up. :moto:
the main thing is someone got a photo of you crashing
didn't realize you still had the J1
its looking clean... apart from the wheels!

Yeah, will look to get wheels done when I change the tyres
PS video kept running and bike got dropped on it's side when being taken out the van at atound 13:45
Wish I hadn't googled that!
Good your not bad and the bike is fixing up. Blue J2's are indeed a thing of beauty.
Away to watch the video.
That went early and appears without warning!
Insult to injury being dropped out of the van 🙄
Glad your ok Dave, the J still looks good make sure you heal properly too
