Title: bar end weight falling off
Post by: leigh7659 on August 23, 2013, 09:56:52 AM
As it says. How do I stop the blinkin thing from falling out? Already lost one down the road

Lhs I threadlocked in and tightened as much as possible without stripping the head of the bolt which seems to work. Rhs still works its way out. It's a bolt that tightens onto a rubber bung.

Was thinking maybe bathroom silicon on the bung might help. Would like something non permanent.

Any other ideas?

Is the throttle tube/grip rubbing on it and undoing it?

no - but I do ride with half my palm on the throttle and half on the bar end. Tried changing it and I can't....just works for me
